About Us
Smile for Therapy Initiative is a project initiated by PCFSO, a registered in Kenya in 2009 as a national Non-Governmental Organization to primarily support children and youth living with disabilities in Kenya.
The organization’s main object is to empower the children and youth (LWD) in their communities through education, therapy, caregiver training, mobility aids and resource mobilization; using Self Help concept for sustainable development and transformation.
Smile for Therapy Initiative envisions children and youth LWD managing and enjoying their sustained growth, mobility and development in a sustainable way.

Comprehensive physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and psychosocial support to children & youth living with disabilities and their care givers.
Training Parents/caregivers of children with disability on implementation of home therapy program, nutritional needs of the children, Empowerment and skills development as well as providing psychosocial support.
Carry out Corrective surgeries in collaboration with partner hospitals and post-surgery intensive therapy to ensure full recovery of the children; continuous health monitoring & intervention for children with underlying medical conditions.
Provide safe places for children with extreme disabilities to allow caregivers to work and learn skills while they watch over their children; Health and sanitation improvement/adaptation to suit learners with disabilities at home and in schools;
Special needs education, training support and Empowerment for Children/Youth living with disability; Sheltered workshops for skills development and economic empowerment for youth living with disabilities and caregivers as well.
